* Ordinance violations Citations will be issued to persons in violation * Recycling Trash Pickup Trash should  be put in trash bins rather than bags sit out. Cans should not exceed 35 gallon. Recycling program being temporarily suspended in all but two pilot areas Trash pickup will remain as scheduled in non pilot areas. Plan is to resume when COVID19 is resolved. Goal is to reduce stress and exposure of public works employees. Support of uniform trash bins is encouraged. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at Pratt Library 509 Dugan Ave, Birmingham AL 35214

During this mornings teletownhall: No meeting of more than 10 persons. Mayor Woodfin made a well received comment that citizens could benefit from stepping away from #COVID19 news for a while. Parks are not closed so families who currently reside together may have  individual exercise activities but group activities, contact sports are discouraged  and subject to being dispersed by police. Church meetings are discouraged due to tendency for much physical communication which can lead to unintentional spread of #COVID19.
