Recycling Trash Pickup

Trash should  be put in trash bins rather than bags sit out. Cans should not exceed 35 gallon.

Recycling program being temporarily suspended in all but two pilot areas Trash pickup will remain as scheduled in non pilot areas.

Plan is to resume when COVID19 is resolved.

Goal is to reduce stress and exposure of public works employees.

Support of uniform trash bins is encouraged. A lift would be used reducing damage to cans and wear and tear on workers.

Pharmacy
Doctor
Work
Exercise (solitary activity only)  -walking bikibg running

A total city lockdown is not planned.

Student lunch program
Lunches will be given out through May

Persons recovered from COVID19 are thought to be immune and not spreading three days after fever HOWEVER research is being conducted currently.


*Homeless persons can be asked to cooperate with social distancing by stores which they may be congregating.

Further inquiry is needed to determine if neighborhood meetings can be held online.

Evictions should not be going on right now. Sheriffs department is not participating in evictions.

Housing payments
There is postponement of payments right now.
Subsidized housing tenants may be given extra time but payment is encouraged and will be required eventually.

Storm shelters
Six foot rule will be enforced inside safe rooms as well.

Volunteering is okay.

Census plans for home visits are on hold due to COVID19. There has been discussion of date moving back.
