Better Together Multicultural Holiday Festival
Join the City of Birmingham for the Better Together Multicultural Holiday Festival! The fun-filled event will be held at the Boutwell Auditorium on Friday, Dec. 2 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The event will feature live entertainment, line dancing, cultural activities and presentations, food trucks, giveaways, and local vendors! Stop by and take a selfie with Papa Cause. There will also be a live fashion show, at 1 p.m. Celebrate the holiday season as we uplift and embrace several holiday traditions.
The Blackest Friday Holiday Shopping Extravaganza
The Modern Green Book and The Flourish Alabama will present The Blackest Friday Holiday Shopping Extravaganza. This family friendly event will feature black businesses, live music, gift wrapping and holiday beverages on Friday, Dec. 2 from 5-9 p.m.
Holiday Magic Market on Friday
Shopping locally has never been so easy! You can support small businesses at the Holiday Magic Market this Friday, Dec. 2 from 4-8 p.m. The market will be conveniently located on 20th Street between 2nd and 4th Avenue North. Sloss Holiday Market

Sloss Holiday Iron Pour
Sloss Metal Arts will be having their Holiday Iron Pour event in the Cast Shed next to the Visitor Center. Come out and shop for holiday metal art pieces, make your own iron art, or just enjoy watching an iron pour from the Sloss Metal Artists. Christmas at Arlington
10 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
The Arlington Historical Association invites you to attend “Christmas at Arlington!” The annual holiday event will be held at Arlington Historic House and Gardens, located at 331 Cotton Ave. SW. Visitors who attend this holiday celebration are invited to “step back in time” as local decorators adorn rooms of this historic house in seasonal period décor. Join us for live entertainment, refreshments, arts and crafts and a visit with the old jolly elf himself, Santa!

Toy Drive
The City of Birmingham, along with CBS 42 and AmFirst Credit Union, is hosting Magic City Toy Drive now through Dec. 9. Donations of new toys, coats and bicycles will be sought in hopes of helping to supplement low to moderately-low income families with their children’s holiday wishes.
