Hood's Qwik Mart License Vote Passed

Hood's Qwik Mart store will make application for a liquor license transfer to Yagoub Saleh Mohamed, the son of the curent owner.

The neighborhood voted approval at its May 17, 2022 meeting.

Mr. Sam has agreed to the upkeep of the facilities, keeping landscape clean and working with the police department to reduce vagrants at the location.

The recent improvements to the store will be maintained.

He has been a supporter of neighborhood events, sports activities for our youth and North Pratt Neighborhood Association clean up days.

We are pleased to work with businesses that serve and reinvest in the neighborhood and larger community.

And we pledge to keep a watchful eye to ensure that businesses operate legally and treat customers fairly.
