HOME REPAIR GRANTS - HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

Please see the attached document for Habitat for Humanity roofing project. Remember that homeowner’s insurance is required in order to receive funding. You can reach Habitat at phone number (205) 780-1234. 

Also, the Community Action Agency has taken over JCCEO’s Weatherization Program repairs include: 

installation of attic, wall, and floor insulation, sealing duct work, HVAC tune ups and/or repairs, windows, doors, and replacing incandescent lights with LED bulbs. 

Participants can reach the Community Action Agency at phone number (256) 899-8760. 

The Critical Repair Program include roofing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural repairs. Although, the program is on hold due to the contractors COVID backlog.
